M. Lakeya Tucker was born and raised in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Bowie State University. She has built a distinguished career in the Federal Government, dedicating 25 years of service, and played a pivotal role as a Plank Owner in the establishment of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in 2001.

Driven by her passion for storytelling and helping others share their experiences, Lakeya founded MLT Communications Consulting. Her mission is to assist ordinary people in getting their testimonies told and publishing their stories. She firmly believes that "everyone has a testimony and someone can overcome by hearing yours."

Currently residing in Tampa, Florida, with her husband and son, Lakeya is diligently working on her testimonial book, set to be released in 2025. Stay tuned for this inspiring release.
